Trail Rides

 Due to increased demand and with people booking online and in advance…We may not always be able to accomodate walk-ins.  We recommend that you please call ahead for availability and to secure a reservation. Available ride times may vary by day and season.  

 

Enjoy the scenic countryside of Logan County from the back of a well-trained trail horse. Our guided trail rides will take you into the hilly woods surrounding the Farm for a memorable trail ride. Trail riders must be 6 or older. Our weight limit is 250lb max (No Exceptions). For your protection we provide friendly and helpful trail guides on all rides, and we do not permit double riding with youngsters. All rides are walking only. A signed riding waiver is required for each rider and parents must sign for minors. Riders under the age of 11 must be accompanied by an adult on the ride (not on the same horse.)

Weight Limit
Our weight limit is a 250lb max. We reserve the right to ask any riders to step on a scale. We will need to know the approx. height and weight of anyone over 230lbs. There are generally no exceptions to our weight limit. Decisions on whether an individual is too heavy to ride will be left to the discretion of our stable staff. 

Walk-Ins

Horseback Riding Waiver
All trail ride participants must have a completed riding waiver form in order to ride horses. A new waiver is needed for every ride. A parent or legal guardian must sign for minors. When you register for your trail ride a link to this online waiver will be sent to your e-mail. Electronic waivers can be completed in our office during your check in process.

Group Rates
Group rates are available to groups of 10 or more with reservation and 30% deposit. Additional discounts apply for groups of 75 or more.

Private Rides
Private rides are only available by reservation at least 48 hours in advance. Availability is limited so the further out you call the more likely it will be available.  Our guided private rides assure that only the riders you schedule will be included on the ride.

Evening Rides
Evening rides take place after the stables are normally closed and must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. Evening rides are only available May 15-October 15 and are considered private rides. Availibility is very limited

Badge Programs for Scouts
We offer custom badge programs that can be designed for scout groups. Please contact us for more details.

Grounds Polices
Marmon Valley Farm maintains a smoke-free, tobacco-free facility. Personal pets are not permitted on grounds.
