Make an impact in the lives of young people by sharing your faith in Jesus and building deep, meaningful relationships! God has worked in and through the staff at camp to make a difference for eternity and you could be a part of that! 

We are looking for college-age adults and a few exceptional high school students to commit to living and serving at camp for ten weeks during the summer. Because of the nature of our Christian camp program, applicants must love the Lord and have a desire to serve Him at camp. Marmon Valley Ministries employs without regard to age, race, color, sex, disability, nationality, parental status, or veteran status. 

The first two weeks of the summer are designed to prepare staff to confidently handle the responsibilities of their job. Training includes two weeks of courses in horsemanship, camp procedures, programs, evangelism, and everything else our staff needs to be equipped for the summer.  

There are several roles that are that we are hiring for this summer including:

The Matthew Team

• Ages: 15-17
• Pay: $200 per week (room and board included)
• The Matthew team is designed for young people who would like a chance to work in a camp but either are too young to serve as a counselor or would like to grow a little more before taking on greater responsibility.  You will be working support staff roles such as kitchen, housekeeping, grounds, and assistant.  You will also go through our discipleship program.  Lastly, you will receive training in how to be a counselor both in the riding program and the summer camp activities.

 

Counseling Staff

• Ages: 17-25
• Pay: $320 per week (room and board included)
• Our counseling staff are the backbone of our summer program.  They share the Gospel through our riding program, camp activities, and building relationships with campers as they care for them throughout the week.  We are looking for mature young adults that are quick learners, hard workers, responsible, and have a passion for teaching Christ in all that they do. 

 

Media Manager

• Ages: 18+
• Pay: $350 per week (room and board included)
• We are looking for one staff member who has background in media.  They are in charge of taking pictures, video, creating parent slide presentations, managing camp multi-media, and overseeing audio visual use.  They also work with our administration for promotions, social media, other advertising throughout the summer.

 

Summer Staff receive 24 hours off each week. All positions have responsibilities that cross over into other areas of camp.

Applicants must have three people complete an EMPLOYEE REFERENCE FORM before they can be offered a staff position. Examples include a pastor, youth pastor, employer, etc.
